Invitation Letter to the 5th International Conference on Rice Bran Oil (ICRBO) 2018

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we take great pleasure in inviting you to The 5th International Conference on Rice Bran Oil (ICRBO) 2018, an annual conference aiming to promote the development and utilization of rice bran oil, nutritious and healthy oil.

Established in 2013, the IARBO (International Association of Rice Bran Oil) is a non-profit and non-governmental international organization that comprises of 5 country members: China, India, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam.  It enhances awareness and trade of rice bran oil in international market.  It provides a platform for research and development, application, marketing, exchange, etc of rice bran oil between manufacturers, research institutes, universities, consumers, etc.

In 2018, we are proud to be the host to organize the 5th ICRBO, with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (the flagship technological university in educational and research activities) and Wilmar CLV (one of Asian leading groups in the areas of foodstuff, oleo and feed ingredients), as the representatives from academic and business segments.

The 5th ICRBO will be held from 23th - 25th May 2018, at the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi - one of the most ancient capitals in the world. With the theme “Rice Bran Oil - The world’s premium healthy oil”, the conference will create opportunities for IARBO’s members, universities, researchers and enterprises to gather, share knowledge and update recent research and new application on RBO and its value-added derivatives.  IARBO wishes to increase the awareness of benefits of RBO through public media, newspaper and conference. For the first time, ICRBO gathers undergraduates and post-graduates worldwide in a research contest to promote innovative and practical ideas about the benefits of RBO.

With this letter, we enclose the Registration Fee and we look forward to welcoming you at ICRBO2018.

  • Registration fee do not include service charge, VAT and wire transfer fees
  • For student, photocopy of student card must be sent with registration form, or email to Organizing Committee after completing registration. Meal not to be provided
  • Children are not welcomed to attend conference
  • Registration payment is non-refundable. Substitutions without any penalty are allowed until May 18, 2018
