I. INTRODUCTION

Industry Award is an annual activity organized within the framework of International Conference on Rice Bran Oil (ICRBO). In 2018, Industry Award is solemnly organized at the 5^th ICRBO with the purpose to recognize innovative and breakthrough business and technology ideas, achievements of enterprises producing and doing business in products extracted from rice bran oil. The industry award is assessed based on strict assessment criteria by Panel of Judges who are experts on RBO.

II. CRITERIA 

• Legal enterprise with products related to rice bran oil is eligible to apply
• Application for Industry Award should clearly demonstrate the innovative and breakthrough business and technology ideas and achievement
• The product of enterprise should have health significance to society and consumers
• Enterprises that were awarded previously is advised not to apply
• Enterprise without breach of law at the respective country

III. PROCESS

• Main application (14 April, 2018 – 07 May, 2018)
  -   The applicant has to fill up the application form which includes an abstract about the organization, its innovations, description of innovative/ breakthrough ideas on technology
• Oral presentation (23 May, 2018)
  -   The finalists are invited to ICRBO2018 for 10 minutes of oral presentation
  -   A sample of product should be shown during the oral presentation.
  -   The panel will conduct a comprehensive review of all finalists and determine the winner of Industry Award
  -   The award will be publicly announced at Industry Award ceremony organized on 25 May 2018
